Materials Science and Photonics: A Field in Constant Evolution

Materials science is a continually evolving field, aiming to design, develop, or optimize materials with unique physical and chemical properties. This includes Functional Organic/Polymeric Materials for Advanced Photonics and Inorganic/Organic Nano and hybrid Materials for Optoelectronics, Nanotechnology and environmental technology, smart materials, and Microelectronics, with applications spanning diverse sectors such as electronics, optics, energy, catalysis, and the environment.

In this context, the 19th International Symposium on Advanced Organic Photonics (ISAOP-25) will focus on organic and hybrid photonic materials, as well as related devices and technologies. The covered topics will include:

  • Organic and hybrid photonic materials
  • Organic optical devices (optical waveguides, optical fibers, organic semiconductor devices)
  • New technologies and applications for optical communications and signal transmission
  • New concepts in Organic and Plastic materials and devices for photonic applications
  • Nanotechnology and environmental technology, smart materials
  • Organic and hybrid solar cells
  • Photonics for Energy
  • Smart materials
  • Microelectronics
